This post is to announce that we are hiring an Apple Product Expert! If you are more seasoned, and interested in a more advanced role, check out our open spot for Apple Enterprise Specialist. We're accepting applications until February 3, so don't hesitate, and let your pals know if you think they'd be interested!

Who's this for?
If you're the guy or gal in your circle that everyone asks for Apple tech advice, this role may be for you. The Apple Product Expert is our entry level Apple support role on our Delivery Team. It's where you can get your career started with Apple IT. Being on the front lines allows you to begin understanding core technologies in iOS, macOS, networking, and general IT practices. While you've got to have a knack for technical work, you've also got to love human beings. This is our business: serving people. We just happen to serve by way of Apple consulting and tech support. So if you like to be the hero and put a smile on people's faces, you should apply.

What qualifications do I need?
To meet our minimum requirements, you should really have 1-2 years of working with Apple technology in some form or fashion. Our Apple Product Experts all have the Apple Certified Support Professional certification. However we know that being book smart isn't everything. If you don't have that yet, we'll help you get certified within 30 days of joining the team. We'll even pay for the exam.

What's the day-to-day like?
You'll be taking care of requests coming in from our hundreds of clients every day. About 30% of these requests will be remote, from your home office (or you can work from our midtown office). The other 70% of your week will likely be on site. Some weeks more, some weeks less. When you're on site, you're driving across Atlanta metro. This means you've got to enjoy driving, and that you have a few podcast subscriptions or audiobooks queued up. As far as the hands-on work, you are face-to-face with clients, problem solving. You may not know all of the answers, but you're resourceful, calm, and enjoy finding the solution.

We've got an interesting balance of solo work and team work. Much of your work will be independent, and that's why we look for someone who is comfortable with a good degree of autonomy and responsibility. Having said that, our team is pretty spectacular. We know that we are better together, and so we're always helping each other problem solve and improve. Iron sharpens iron. You'll meet at least once a week for our team meeting, and likely run into a few of the team members throughout the week during projects. We really have a great time together. For example, given any reason Jimmy will drive down from Nashville for an overnight stay, just because.

  • $40,000 Full Time (once certified)
  • $40/mo iPhone reimbursement
  • $60/mo Mac reimbursement
  • 57¢ per mile (gov't standard) travel reimbursement for billable work.

  • Highly recommended 40 hours a week. (This shouldn't be a benefit, but it is.)
  • Work from home or Midtown office.
  • 3% matching retirement plan
  • $150/mo reimbursement for health insurance.
  • A calm work environment where productivity is protected.

Apply
Our deadline for applying is very soon: February 3. To apply, just shoot us an email at jobs@foojee.com with the following:

  • Why you'd like to work at Foojee.
  • An example of a recent Apple-based solution you provided or recommended to someone.
  • A mock email to a client that sent a request with the following problem. Feel free to ask for clarifying questions and then either offer a solution via email or offer a time to have a remote or on site appointment. "Hi Foojee! I've noticed for the last couple of weeks that none of my calendars are syncing on my iPhone and Mac. I take that back, my calendars from my Mac come to my phone, but when I make an appointment on my phone, they don't go to my Mac. Can you please help? I'm going out of town in two days and I need this to work!"
